The Cascades to Host Chamber Business After Hours

Hudson, NY – Join the Chamber to celebrate 15 years of business in the local community and sample some great food as The Cascades hosts a Business After Hours on Thursday, January 22, 2009. The event will run from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.

Fifteen years after hosting its first Business After Hours, The Cascades is happy to be hosting its second After Hours on Thursday, January 22. The Cascades just celebrated a milestone - 15 years in business. Bob Lucke, proprietor, has been a member of the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce from the beginning. He and his staff look forward to welcoming fellow Chamber members to their restaurant once again.

Located at 407 Warren Street in Hudson , The Cascades is well-known for its soups and sandwiches, many of which are named after mountains. “The name of the restaurant is a piece of my history,” says Lucke, who moved to Hudson from Seattle 20 years ago. “I named my restaurant after the Cascades mountain range in Washington State . I got the idea after seeing a restaurant in Seattle called ‘The Catskills'”.

The Cascades hosted its first After Hours back in 1993, and it looks forward to welcoming the business community back to kick-off the first After Hours of the new year.
