Dr. Teshna Beaulieu reads from “Fit for Love” at Chatham Bookstore on Saturday, May 10. Philmont chiropractor Teshna Beaulieu will read from her book, “Fit for Love,” on Saturday, May 10, from 5 to 7 p.m. A conversation with Thomas Chulak from the bookstore and Q and A will follow a brief reading and demonstration of the approach used in the book. Spring Planting Day with Dan Zanes

Saturday, May 10th is the day for the Mother’s Day Rose Sale, a benefit for the Campaign for the Hudson Area Library. 10 stems for $20.00. Big, beautiful roses.  A bouquet to make your Mom (or wife, or partner) smile.  Roses that are full, ready to open into huge blossoms.  10 stems – wrapped and beribboned.  Pink only.  Freshly cut blooms, 16” tall.  Buy one bouquet or buy several.  Pre-order between now and Friday, May 9th, at using PayPal, or if you prefer to pay by cash or check, you can stop by the library. All purchases will be reserved in your name for pick up in front of the First Presbyterian Church of Hudson, corner of Warren St. & 4th on Saturday, May 10th between 11am and 4pm.  Rose bouquets will also be available for sale at the table on the 10th while supplies last.

Dinner with Music @ Solaris

Cabaret and Film Songs of Franz Waxman

On Saturday, May 17 at 7:00 pm at the Hudson Opera House. Robert Osborne, bass-baritone/Richard Gordon, piano.  Robert Osborne, an admired favorite on the American concert and opera scene, performs the cabaret and film songs of Franz Waxman.  Waxman is best known for his scores for such iconic films as The Philadelphia Story, Bride of Frankenstein, and Sunset Boulevard, as well as his celebrated Carmen Fantasie for the film Humoresque.  This entertaining cabaret will survey Waxman’s greatest songs in German, French and English.  Admission: $20/adults.  For more information visit their website at

Hudson Berkshire Wine & Food Festival

Olde Kinderhook Fair
