Join the Chamber at Hawthorne Valley on on July 16 at 5:00 pm as we
co-sponsor “A Declaration of Interdependence” in celebration of local living economies in the Hudson Valley and Greater Berkshire Region. We will honor Judy Wicks, founder of the White Dog Cafe and the Business Alliance
for Local Living Economies (BALLE), and author of Good Morning, Beautiful Business. Following the
talk, Judy will have a book signing; copies of her book will be available for
purchase at the event.  A summer cookout will follow featuring local farm
products and prepared by the Chefs Consortium. The menu will include Hawthorne
Valley hot dogs, hamburgers and condiments; beverages from Hudson-Chatham
Winery and Chatham Brewery, and side salads with vegetables Hawthorne Valley
and other local farms. There will be live music and dancing as well.  Talk
and Book Signing are free, but reservations are requested.  Summer Cookout
