Chamber Announces Affordable Care Act Solutions for Business
Beginning January 1, 2014, The Affordable Care Act will allow Individuals, Sole Proprietors & Small Businesses to access their health insurance policies through Exchanges, also known as Health Insurance Marketplaces. The Columbia County Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with EP Nevins is proud to announce the formation of a Private Exchange, an electronic marketplace where individuals, Sole Proprietors & small businesses can review, select & purchase insurance products through an enhanced online enrollment technology platform.
The Columbia County Chamber of Commerce has partnered with MVP Healthcare for the individual & Sole Proprietor members & CDPHP for the small business members for an effective date of January 1st.
Through this newly formed Private Exchange Partnership, EP Nevins will be able to continue to support the chamber members with a Buy Local Source for personalized customer service assistance. The ability for small businesses to implement a defined contribution strategy, allowing employees to select from a menu of products for a one-stop-shopping experience is just one of the many benefits offered to chamber members. In addition to health insurance, businesses may select plans for vision coverage, dental coverage and special medical related discounts.
EP Nevins will continue to provide ease of administrative services, such as single source bill, enrollment assistance and claims resolution as well as regulatory compliance to all members.
