Kari is an 8th generation resident of Columbia County, growing up in Kinderhook and currently living in Valatie. She has a bachelor’s in history from Salve Regina University in Newport, RI and a Masters in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania. She has spent most of her career working as a fundraising professional for Not-for-Profits in both Rhode Island and New York.
Kari is on the board of Our Community Cares Inc. and the Friends of Lindenwald. In her spare time, she enjoys learning about local history, gardening, hiking and creating stained glass.
She is excited to be involved with the Chamber and supporting local businesses of all sizes in the community where she grew up.
