The Cooper’s Daughter Spirits Cocktail Garden is open every weekend for farm-to-glass spirit tastings, signature cocktails, beer, wine and cider.  The distillery is also open daily for bottles of bourbon, whiskey, vodka and liqueur to-go.

How do they keep you comfy in an open-air setting?  An oversized fire bowl, propane heaters, two covered patios, and hot drinks.

Friday, January 7 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm and Sunday, January 9 from 12:00 – 6:00 pm:  This & That Food Truck is back this weekend with their classic offerings and vegan menu such as fired chicken, grilled artichoke, cauliflower wings, empanadas, falafel, quesadillas, and more!  (V & GF Options)

Spencertown Academy presents Judy White Staber: Book Release Celebration – Saturday, January 8, 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm

Celebrate the publication of a biographical-memoir by our former executive director, Judy White Staber. “Rise About It, Darling: The Story of Joan White” Actor, Director, Teacher, Producer and (Sometimes) Mother (The Troy Book Makers, January 2022), is about Staber’s mother, who was a well-known actress and teacher in the 20th century theatre world. The event will feature a reading and Q&A, followed by a reception where copies of the book will be available for purchase (cash or check only please).

Reducing Stress and Anxiety with the Alexander Technique
Saturdays, January 15 and 22, 11:00 am – 12:00 pm in person at the Hudson Area Library  Join Becky Sandler, certified Alexander Technique teacher, for this two-class series where you will learn how to move from clenched jaw, furrowed brow, and shallow breathing to more balance, ease, and presence in your daily life. Each class is unique, but if you can’t make both dates, come to one!
