
Scott F. Owen, Esq., an Associate of the firm, concentrates his practice in the areas of litigation, real estate, estate planning, zoning, land use, business and corporate law. He regularly represents clients in local, state, and federal courts. He is also experienced in helping clients resolve disputes through alternative dispute resolution.
Scott earned his J.D. from Albany Law School, receiving Magna Cum Laude honors, honors as a member of the Justinian Society, and the award for Second Best Oral Advocate, in the Domenick L. Gabrielli Moot Court Appellate Advocacy Competition. While attending Albany Law School, he served as the Executive Editor for New York Appeals for the Albany Law Review, as Vice President of the Business Law Society, coordinating volunteers and participating in the Small Business Legal Advice Clinic, and as a member of the Philanthropy Committee. Additionally, Scott was as a legal intern for the Justice Center’s Community Economic Development Clinic and for the Office of the Attorney General’s Bureau of Consumer Frauds and Protections. Also, Scott was a Research Assistant focusing on novel areas of law.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, with a minor in Philosophy, from the University of Delaware.
