Easter Egg Hunt at Livingston Hills Nursing & Rehab 
Livingston Hills Nursing & Rehab annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 15, 2017 from 12pm-2pm at our facility in Livingston.  **Bring your own basket**  The Easter Bunny will be taking photos with the kids throughout the event, along with face painting, and airbrush tattoo artists.  We will also have games, arts & crafts, and an Easter egg coloring station.  Food and refreshments will be provided free of charge.  The event is also FREE OF CHARGE.  Donations are always welcome for the Livingston Hills Family Memorial Park!

Beer Tasting

Claverack Free Library hosts Author, Allison Marchese
On Saturday, April 22,  at 4pm,  the Claverack Free Library will host Allison Marchese, author of The Hidden History of Columbia County, NY (Arcadia/History Press – 2014). The book uncovers the secret history buried in the towns of Austerlitz, Chatham, Claverack, Kinderhook, New Lebanon, Taghkanic, Valatie, and the city of Hudson — each with different and unusual stories. The Claverack Library is located at 629 State Route 23B.  There is ample parking behind the library.

Workshop for Self-care for our Inner & Outer Wellbeing and Happiness
SELF-CARE FOR OUR INNER + OUTER WELLBEING AND HAPPINESS: through herbs, tea ceremony, meditation, relationship and daily nourishment  Saturday, April 22, 1:30PM– 3:00PM (1.5 hours) Hudson, NY $45, with Olivia Clementine.  We will spend the afternoon covering rituals to bring into your life, and into your business to support sustainable wellbeing and self-care.  We will explore practices to keep your mind and body connected to vitality and joy.  We will engage in exercises to learn fresh ways of relating with each other, to support present and vibrant relationships ~ something that is essential to our health and happiness. We will also share in a tea ceremony and through that you will learn about plants that support your every day well being.  These tools will support seeing your work freshly so innovation and creativity can arise. Traveling Talks: Church & Cut Outs, Sketches, and Studies
Saturday, April 22 at 4:00 pm | Member: $15, Non-Member: $20 | Ages 12+, Perhaps the process of assembling a 21st century installation art piece and a 19th century panoramic landscape painting share more than we realize. Join Caroline O’Connell from the Drawings, Prints & Graphic Design Department at the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum for a close reading of Frederic Church’s trips to Maine in the 1850s as illustrative of the common ground. O’Connell will show work from storage at the Cooper Hewitt as well as share interesting facts about the Hewitt sisters’ acquisition of over 2,000 works by Church in 1917. Afternoon of Tea and Fashion
3rd Annual Afternoon Tea & Fashion Show:  Lynne Chmurzynski’s annual fundraiser to combat local hunger is back!  The popular event will be held on Sunday April 23rd from 1-4PM at the Copake Memorial Park Building at 305 Mountainview Road. Advance tickets are available for $12 (adult) or $15 at the door. Children 12-18 pay only $5.  Volunteers are ALWAYS needed and always welcome!  If you have some time and talent to share, please contact Lynne at 518-325-4000.  Fashions from Lynne’s clothing shop, Mirror Mirror Clothing Shop, will be featured and the refreshments will come from a variety of local providers such as Verdigris Tea.

Decluttering & Organizing Basics
Thursday, April 27th, 6:00-9:00 PM, Chatham Adult Education Program, Chatham High School, 50 Woodbridge Ave., Chatham, NY 12037.   Decluttering & Organizing Basics with Professional organizer and owner of Minding Your Manor, Julie Ulmer.  In this class, participants will learn some of the basic reasons why Americans have difficulty with clutter and disorganization, how to identify what constitutes clutter for them, and how to begin the process of shedding unwanted belongings and organizing what remains.
