7th Annual Craft Fair

On May 9, 2015 American Joint Care Foundation will be hosting its 7th Annual Craft Fair on the premises of the Whittier Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center, 1 Whittier Way, Ghent, NY 12075 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. “$7.00 Lunch Special — Noon – 2:00 p.m.” Vendors are welcome. Mother’s Day Cruise

Hudson Cruises presents a wonderful Mother’s Day Cruise aboard the 100 foot “Marika” luxury yacht. This beautiful afternoon dinner cruise from 2:30 – 5:00 pm will feature a wonderfully prepared dinner by one of our fine chefs, prepared fresh from our onboard galley. Take a stroll out on the bow deck or up on the bridge terrace. All moms receive a complimentary glass of Champagne during boarding. Imagine this all while on a luxurious yacht cruising the majestic Hudson River on a 16 mile round trip journey. Outdoor Flea Market

On Saturday, May 16 at Beaver Mill Antiques will host an Outdoor Flea Market. They are located at 3045 Main Street, Valatie. Stop by to check out great deals on antiques, collectibles, antique estate and costume jewelry and discounted items from their shop. Spring Planting Day

On Saturday, May 16 at 10:00 am The Sylvia Center at Katchkie Farm and Chef Chef Bob Turner, Executive Chef for Omega Institute, to celebrate the coming of spring. Families will work together to plant in the Children’s Learning Garden and harvest early spring veggies to prepare a delicious farm-fresh seasonal lunch together. All ages are welcome. Rain or shine.

Hudson Opera House presents a String Trios, Classics on Hudson on Saturday, May 23 at 7:00 pm. Grammy nominated artists Shmuel Ashkenasi and Peter Wiley are joined by Helena Baillie in Schubert’s sublime B flat Trio, followed by Mozart’s rarely performed Adagio and Fugues K. 404, written in the style of another musical titan, J.S. Bach. To complete the evening, Ashkenasi, Wiley and Baillie present the magisterial Divertimento by Mozart K. 563, which stands alone in its richness of vision. Admission is $20/person. Wine & Food Festival

The Hudson Berkshire Wine & Food Festival will be held on Saturday, May 23 from 11:00 am – 6:00 pm and Sunday, May 24 from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm at the Columbia County Fairgrounds in Chatham.
