Columbia County has become a place for destination weddings.  It has been called authentic.  That is the word Lisa Light of Destination Bride in Chatham keeps hearing over and over.  Authentic  – not contrived mansions packed with period furnishings, but private estates.  Authentic – not halls for rent by the hour but natural spaces.  Columbia County offers mountains and fields, museums and small country churches.  Columbia County is able to offer green weddings and farm-to-table receptions.

Columbia County has unique venues such as the Basilica, the former pocketbook factory, Omi International Art Center, PS21, private properties and much more.  Come to the First Hudson Wedding Showcase to be held on Sunday, April 28 from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm to to meet purveyors of fine food, flowers, fashion, photography, cinematography, transportation, party rentals, and entertainment.
