Monty is the chair of the Hospitality Committee for the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce. He is the owner of Columbia-Greene Home Inspections, LLC. He grew up and has spent most of his life in Columbia County. He obtained degrees from SUNY Plattsburgh and Springfield College and has worked in numerous fields, including government, tech, hospitality, trades, recreation, and entertainment. His diverse experience allows him to understand business and community efforts from a wide array of perspectives.
Monty served on the board of Northern Columbia Little League and has participated in numerous volunteer efforts with other local community organizations. He raises his family in Stockport, NY, and enjoys many outdoor hobbies, as well as playing guitar. He has a deep appreciation for the local region and all it has to offer residents and visitors alike, and will provide his support to the Chamber and any interested parties to advance their business and community goals.
