Kira is a lifelong resident of Columbia County, currently residing in Claverack with her husband, Clint, and their two rescue dogs. She is a graduate of Columbia-Greene Community College, the University at Albany, and Trident University. Kira joined the Chamber in 2023 after concluding a 20-year career in Human Resource management, holding positions that included Senior Manager and Chief Human Resources Officer in a variety of industries.
In addition to the Chamber, Kira is the owner of Kira Bakes for you and co-owner of Elevated Gatherings, LLC. Kira is also a volunteer trail tender with the Columbia Land Conservancy, a member of the Columbia County Recovery Kitchen’s Governance Committee, and a freelance journalist.
Outside of work, you’ll most likely find Kira running, baking, washing and waxing her car, watching the latest juicy telenovela, or trying to keep her collection of plants alive.
